We’re pleased to present a book that brings together research and reflections on a man, Joaquim Pla Janini, and on an artistic movement, pictorialism. The book was created based on the exhibition Bromolis. Fotografia pictorialista de Joaquim Pla Janini [Bromolis. The Pictorialist Photography of Joaquim Pla Janini] (MMB 2022) and responds to the desire to present and reclaim the maritime work of Joaquim Pla Janini, which is housed at the Museu Marítim de Barcelona.
