Figureheads and sculptures
Polychrome woodcarving made in the workshops of the Maritime Museum of Barcelona around 1939, in the form of a full-body feminine figure. The woman has long, combed hair, is wearing a period dress and holds a flower in her right hand, while her left grips her clothing.
It is unknown whether it was meant to be a reproduction of an older piece that has since been lost, but this carving has the shape and proportions of a typical figurehead.
