Made in France around 1400 by an unknown artisan, the disk has a limb divided into 360° without numbers and two series going from I to XII hours in roman numerals. The other five disks or tympans correspond with the following latitudes: 52° Parisian (48°), 45°, 42° and 40°. The back shows a calendar with the 12 signs of the zodiac and the length of the sun on the ecliptic for each day of the year. This piece is incomplete, as it is missing its spider, aliade, axle and pin.
