The Marítim Museum of Barcelona presents a selection of boats taken from the large and significant collection conserved at the Museu. These are working boats linked with the world of fishing (i.e. sardine boats and trawl line boats) and the field of leisure sailing, and which include the trawler República, the dinghy, the Snipe Toñete, as well as a large number of Catalan catamarans (the patí de vela). There are also a number of vessels brought from overseas, such as the kayaks and the flat-bottomed canoe made out of a tree trunk.
