Photography
Photography dated to 1948 by Joaquim Pla Janini (1879-1970). His work is considered very significant both within Catalan photography in general and the pictorialist movement. Pla Janini uses transported bromoil, an old photographic technique frequently used at the beginning of the 20th century by the pictorialist photographers. It involves bleaching a photographic print exposed onto silver-bromide paper and then impregnating it with oil pigments.
