Poster dating from about 1940, printed in Barcelona by Morell/I. G. Viladot, S.L. This poster promotes leisure on the Catalan coast using a rowing patí. This class of catamaran, which appeared in the early 20th century, evolved throughout the 1930s, eventually becoming the patí de vela or patí català, a very popular type of sporting craft regularized for use in regattas in the 1940s. The patí continues to be very popular both in Catalonia and elsewhere.
